This is a video of a horse that has come in for training at Hynders Horsemanship & Performance Horses
He is by KWPN Jeopie (Dutch Warmblood Stallion) out of a Saumarez mare (UK Thoroughbred Stallion), bred by Ruanch Pinto Sport Horses Stud - making him a South African Sport Warmblood

There are still things we need to work on such as him releasing his shoulder, moving forward on his bad side and RELAXATION and ACCEPTANCE of any movement or obstacle asked for
This video was originally a 30min session of which 90% was done with more dwell time and forelock rubs than actual movement work, but overall I got him to be a little calmer, more willing and showed him kind but assertive leadership without any use of "Aggression" or force
I had a Highborn Stud Warmblood for most of my high school career but I never really clicked with him - to be far he was an 11yr old gelding and very set in his ways and I was a young rider trying to figure out what I enjoyed discipline wise
Since 2015 I have been training OTTB's (Off Track TBs) and in December 2020 I took a chance on this gelding and loving every session we have - could be the TB pedigree in my opinion
He is such a sweet nature boy, who tries his best and this is seen in the video every time I ask a request of him. Training horses has been my dream and with RPSH Jabulani I have realized that although specializing in ex-racehorses, occasionally rescues and other breeds make their way to me and I am honored to be working with so many different breed types and getting consistent results using my principles and modern Natural Horsemanship approaches
